Our Story

The Barn School was founded by Kreea Baabahar, a seasoned childcare professional with over a decade of experience as a nanny and a lifelong passion for horses. As a child, she was deeply involved in 4-H, attended horse camps, and owned horses. These experiences helped shape her values and inspired the vision for this program.

Over the years, Kreea recognized a lack of nature and animal-based offerings for children ages 2 to 6 in the Seattle area. In response, she created The Barn School: a place where early childhood development, emotional learning, and equine connection come together.

Drawing from her background in relationship coaching, Kreea believes that animals offer children unique opportunities to develop empathy, responsibility, and confidence. The Barn School is more than an educational experience — it’s a place for little ones to grow, connect, and create lifelong memories rooted in nature and care.
